A few years ago, I began using Pinterest. Pinterest is a great tool to find recipes, new hair styles, home decor ideas, etc. At that time, I never even considered the possibilities of using Pinterest in the classroom.  Below is an excellent link discussing the how to's of Pinterest.

What is Khan Academy?  I was first introduced to this website three years ago while visiting with a neighboring principal.  At the time, the website was a way to view quick lessons on specific topics.  Now, the site is full of information on many different topics that could easily be incorporated into many classrooms.  While working with a teacher recently, I learned that you can now create Khan classes and assign students lessons through this website.  Did I mention it is free?

A Web 2.0 Tool used to connect teachers, students, parents, etc.  Blogging can be a powerful tool for students to use when expressing opinions, main ideas or just an opportunity for a free write.
